1 Ausgangsformationen

2 Definition – einfach erklärt

Nach dem Trennen gehen die Aktiven außen herum und passieren die angesagte Zahl inaktiver Tänzer (1 oder 2). Diese stehen wie „Torpfosten” still.

Nach dem letzten Inaktiven schlüpfen sie zwischen die Tänzer (Center) oder stellen sich außen an (Ends) – es entsteht eine Line.

4 Original-Definition (englisch)

Starting formation: after a Separate. Dance action: The Active dancers walk around the outside passing the designated number of Inactive dancers (goal-posts). When they walk around their last Inactive dancer, they squeeze in to become the Centers of a General Line, or stand outside to become the Ends. Ending formation: Usually Facing Lines.
