2 Definition – einfach erklärt
Alle fassen mit den Nachbarn die Hände zu einem großen Kreis und gehen gemeinsam herum: bei Circle Left nach links (im Uhrzeigersinn), bei Circle Right nach rechts (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn).
Die Strecke wird angesagt (¼ · ½ · ¾ · ganz herum) oder man geht, bis das nächste Kommando kommt. Ohne Richtungsangabe gilt links.
Hände fassen im Couple Handhold: bei Mann/Frau abwechselnd hat der Mann die Handfläche oben, die Frau unten.
Ellbogen locker anwinkeln, Hände etwas über Ellbogenhöhe – nicht durchhängen lassen.
„Circle” allein bedeutet Circle Left (kommt oft in Singing Calls vor, wenn es der Text verlangt).
„Reverse” oder „the other way back” = anhalten und in die andere Richtung weiter.

Starting formations: Static Square, Infacing Circle of 8, Facing Lines. Dance action: Dancers join hands with adjacent dancers to form a circle and move the circle in the indicated direction, or to the left if no direction was given. The amount to circle may be a specified distance (e.g. “Circle Left 1/2 Way”) or until the next command is given. Ending formation: Infacing Circle of 8.
