Tagging-Formation – meist ein ¼ Tag (Center-Wave mit je einem Paar außen, Blick zur Mitte).
2 Definition – einfach erklärt
Alle gehen einen Schritt vorwärts von einer Tagging-Formation in die nächste. Aus einem ¼ Tag wird so eine Ocean Wave.
Die Reihe der Tagging-Formationen: Double Pass Thru → ¼ Tag → Ocean Waves → ¾ Tag → Completed Double Pass Thru. „Extend” rückt immer eine Stufe weiter. Die Händigkeit (rechts/links) bleibt dabei erhalten.
Einfach vorwärts gehen zur nächsten Formation – die Center-Tänzer treten aus der Wave heraus zu den Außentänzern.
Sehr häufig nach Pass the Ocean: „Heads Pass the Ocean, Extend” → Ocean Waves.
Rechtshändig startend endet man rechtshändig, linkshändig startend linkshändig.
Früher hieß der Call „Extend the Tag” – seit 1988 nur noch „Extend”, bei gleicher Tanzhandlung.

Dance action: Walk forward from one tagging formation to the next. Where possible, handedness is maintained. Ending formations: 1/4 Tag, Ocean Waves, 3/4 Tag, Completed Double Pass Thru. Timing: 2.
